Normal is boring. Normal doesn’t change the world. Normal is insignificant. I don’t want to be normal. Do you? Ever heard of someone that went to college, got married, bought a house, had kids, and then grandkids, etc? Of course. Maybe you are that person? No problem. But you probably think there is more to life than just following a “normal” pattern? Maybe you don’t want to just go through the motions? Maybe you want to actually make a difference and to leave a legacy?
Freedom-Cast is about breaking free of the pressures of modern society and challenging the status quo. Ever wanted to leave your 9-5 job? Well, you can, and you DON’T need a million dollars to do so. Ever wanted to NOT be in debt? It’s not only possible, it’s probable. Ever desired deeper, more meaningful connections with the people around you? You can have that too. Martin Luther King Jr. said “Today, our very survival depends on our ability to stay awake, to adjust to new ideas, to remain vigilant and to face the challenge of change.”
We personally believe that every person has limitless potential to change the world, but we also believe that most of us squander that potential at times (myself included). Life is not meant to be lived the same way by every single person. You don’t HAVE to do things a certain way just because your family thinks it’s the best decision for you. You can be like my wife and me and pay $1000 dollars for our wedding. True story.
Challenging the status quo is so important for a life well lived and a dollar well saved. Have you ever felt like you are just spinning your wheels? Unsure of what you want to do with your life? Unsure if you even have anything meaningful to contribute? There is a chance to start over, and it starts by believing in yourself. This show will discuss topics of why challenging the status quo is important, how you can find purpose in your life, and how to achieve long term happiness. We will also share our own struggles. Yes, we did go to a private college, Yes we did spend a lot of money, and no we don’t really utilize our degrees, but we are happy nonetheless. What we know is that we don’t want to live like everyone else, following the “normal” pattern of life in an attempt to arrive safely at death. We want to make a difference and leave a lasting legacy.
The majority of guests on this show will share their own life paths and what they do. We will be bringing on people that do interesting jobs that don’t fit the normal 9-5 structure that most people find themselves in. We will also welcome guests that do things just a little bit differently than most people. We will show you what it means to be free and how to craft yourself into the person you were meant to become.
We will show you how to quit your job, find true fulfillment, and find true and lasting happiness, if this is what you desire. If you love your job and what you do, Great! We will still be there to provide motivation and encouragement to keep on doing what you do. We are still learning, but together we will discover our destinies episode by episode. Join us as we leave normal behind.
